Yes.So what I've found is that you need to kill Kil'jaeden before that happens. The phase swap is at around 40% and two of us at ~220 ilvl are enough to kill Kil'jaeden during the cast for the last phase. Just save all cooldowns and bloodlust and everything for that part.
